Default Bbq gift set. What do I buy.

Want a little help from my brethren. Looking to get two different bbq baskets put together for two friends. One doesn't like vinegar sauces at all. The other will est anything. What would you recommend for sauces, rubs, injections, for my buddies.

Put together a rub basket for them....

Get a few different rubs....

OakRidge makes rubs lower in salt and sugar content so there is more of the savory flavors it imparts.
OakRidge BBQ Rubs

The Santa Maria Steak Seasoning, Game Bird and Chicken Rub, and the Competition Beef and Pork rub are tops...

If you can find it, I recommend:

Sure Shot Sid's Gunpowder Seasoning. Available here:

Sure Shot Sid's ( puts out a LOT of mediocre (and worse!) products; the gunpowder seasoning, however, is wonderful. I use it more than regular salt.
Brinkmann Southfork.
Grill Dome.
Homemade mortarless bread oven.

KCBS member ... primarily so I can get into Restaurant Depot.

Pink and orange Thermopens. The slow ones, as I'm not competitive.
