Real Urban works for me. Either one is 2 1/2 hours, although Vernon Hills seems like a better ride. I got my fancy electronic money waster for the farking tolls............so I can shoot right through....................

Big Ed is a great guy with great BBQ but not sure if he has room at the new location. I can check with him and see if he would be able to accommodate first

I would prefer Jan 18th but probably still make the 26th. I'm ok with the places mentioned.

Big Eds is the real deal! Cool dude, good food and he has a party room upstairs. Never went up there, so I have no idea how many it will hold. Worth a call.

I forgot all about him having a party room plus he has a bar too which im sure is a plus for some..he could easily accomodate a large group in the party room on the 2nd floor. Also does a lot of other food of those who may not want BBQ

I miss Ed myself. Used to go to his North Chicago location a lot for lunch ( where i consider the BBQ he was pulling off his aquarium smoker some of the best in the area or city). Unfortunately I've only been to his place in Waukegan 2-3 times. I do know he installed a Southern Pride there after the closed the North Chicago location
