Default 26.75 Weber Kettle 269.00 HD over the weekend

Hi All,

Just picked up this badboy over the weekend at my local HD. It was priced at 269.00. Weber wouldn't let them apply any other discounts I could locate so I figured that was a decent deal ? Should last a while =) Now my grill set up is complete bring on the BBQ !!

Going to try and conquer a brisket, had nothing but fails the first few times and a Boston Butt for the first time.
I don't know why but I keep thinking about a pulled pork Taco with Tomatillo salsa, Cilantro and sweet onion corn relish.

Can't wait for the weekend to come.

Sounds good. (Other than the cilantro!).

On what cooker/s did your earlier tries "fail"?

Yes, it will last a while, I've had mine for about 30 years.

I've gone to a UDS for smoking and a 22 1/2" Weber for grilling, but hold onto my old 26 3/4 in hopes of some day getting an 85 gallon drum.

Enjoy.

Ya Butts and Picnics are a little easier than Brisket- much larger Window of Done. Be sure and Post Pics.
