Default Smoked Meatballs and Homemade Apple Cider - pr0n

Took the kiddos apple picking yesterday and got a whole mess of Jonathan Apples which are perfect for cider. The kids were great in the apple tasting department, but not so great at the actual picking

Time to head home over the old covered bridge with our bounty

Washing the apples for cider makin'

All cut up, covered with water, cinnamon and nutmeg added, headed for an hour boil and 2 hour simmer

Smoked these meatballs with a bit of apple wood on the kettle for about a half an hour, into the crock pot with some homemade sauce

I did it hot and fast (around 350) instead of frying or baking the meatballs first.
