Default Grizzly vs Ice Hole coolers

I am looking to upgrade my coolers and am trying to decide what to get.
These two seem to be comparable in price and quality.
Any input or suggestions on different ones are welcome.

Thanks

I've seen they all have great reviews and seem to all be comparable in size and capacity. Just kind of looking for opinions of those that have/had these and their opinions.

Hate yeti, not the best with holding ice compared to grizzly, engel and icehole. Eagle is best for buck but I am going icehole, so much better constructed and the best rubber feat of any.

IMO, the high dollar coolers are not worth the bucks. They don't hold ice any better than the 5 day coolers you can buy for under $50. I think the advertising is mis leading as ice retention depends on outside temps as well as how many times you open the cooler.
My BIL has grizzly and I have a Yeti and neither hold ice any longer than a few days.
I will say the quality is there and they look nice so I suppose it depends on what quality you are looking for.

Thanks, I'm looking for long ice holding times, and quality to last some years.
I have some good coolers, but the ability to last for more than 3 +/- yrs just isn't there.
I don't mind spending the money on quality that lasts the long haul

I have heard the pelican brand of coolers are really worth the money. Here they are about $100 less than yeti.

hmmm I'll look at them.
Thanks!

Guess I should add that as a member of KCBS there's a 10% discount on Icehole so I'm taking that into consideration.

Here is a ice-melt comparison...

I could not afford/justify a Yeti, an went with a Coleman Marine cooler. They are the all white Coleman coolers. I've had it a couple of years, and have taken it on several campouts. I am very happy with it.

Igloo had came out with a sportsman series cooler that looks like a yeti but I can't find any reviews or comparisons. SAMs have them for $240 or so for a 45qt,

Thanks CD!
The Coleman held iys own in that comparison for sure. I'd say equal to the Engel and not far behind the IRP. I didn't find the Yeti all that impressive

I've been very happy with my 80qt TooCool by Engle at 1/2 the price of a comparable Yeti and can highly recommend it. I actually bought it because it will hold full sized pans (either SS or aluminum) and I needed something to transport hot/warm foods for my son's football team meals. We have done everything from BBQ to chicken mac-n-cheese and it is great for keeping stuff warm for hours. In fact, we have learned to let things cool a little; if you put product in it right out of the smoker/oven it will continue to cook.
