Looking to buy my first pellet smoker.

Leaning towards the traeger Texas.

Anyone have any other that they recommend or thoughts on traeger. I can't really find any negative reviews out there.

Thanks you guys.

Use the site-specific search near the bottom of the page and you'll find lots to read. There have been several threads on pellets grills/smokers in the past few weeks.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Yoder Pellet Grills. Haven't used one myself yet. I do have a REC TEC Grill that I really love and also a Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone which is an awesome pellet grill as well. Make sure to do a lot research first so you find one that has all the features you want.

I love my REC TEC Grill! I just cooked some Pig Candy on it yesterday. Below is a picture of the finished product. :)

I like that it has a nice big 40lb pellet hopper. The grill light is a nice feature too. I also like that it has SS grates, SS drip pan and a SS heat deflector. Plus the grill has 6 year warranty.

Last but not least is the fact that you can call and talk to the owners directly and they email you back right away as well. That is great customer service in my opinion!

I have had mine for six years and love it. I have a few other smokers too, but the Treager is the easiest to use.
