Man, that's a good looking meal. Neat idea of putting the potatos on skewers.

Looks great....I've never cooked a tri tip....is it cooked more like a steak?
^ I do mine indirect until they get to a 110* IT then reverse sear (very hot) to no more than 120*-125* (we like beef more on the rare side) and rest for a good 15-30 minutes.
 
Tri-tip has quickly become my favorite piece of meat. Simple to cook any way you choose, and so juicy. Nice job.
 
Looks great. I'm just back from being overseas for a year and couldn't get Tri-tip at all. Love it.
