Is anyone getting calls for brisket without turning in burnt ends?
Is anyone getting calls for pork without turning in sliced money meat?

Judges judge what is presented. If you don't have BEs or MM in the box it can still get all 9s if it is excellent.

1st in Brisket at the jack with just slices. But they were the prettiest damn slices I've ever seen, and never saw again. The flat was on in a million.

Including burnt ends and MM slices do not, by themselves, add points. As said above, judges judge what is presented. In fact, poorly cooked burnt ends and MM can detract from what may have been a great score.
