Hey all - just joined here in Ottawa - I have a weber performer that i picked up a few years ago, often grill on it, but also do some indirect bbqing (have some bacon wrapped stuffed (with mushrooms, spinach, peppers) beef rolls on there right now).

Looking to 'up' my smoking game. Tried a few different methods, snake, minion, etc. I've been wondering about putting a hot plate in there (temporarily.. when smoking) with a wood box on top of it, similar to the garden pot approach... I think I'm rambling too much for an introduction now though!

I don't think rambling on hurts to much, I would believe that the more info about what you do or what you like to do is a plus, plus.
