i just found out i can get a truck load of split pecan wood for $50 ...never used it ...is that a decent price

Pecan wood is great wood to smoke with. I love it on brisket and fatties.

I got 2 ricks for 80 so a pickup truck load would be 1 rick or so so 50 would be a good deal
