Default Pellet vs egg?

Hello, i'm new to the community here and am looking for advice on pellet grills vs eggs. I have both, and am curious as to the feedback on both types of grills. And, will i have the need for both? As they are both very different...Looking foward to hearing from you all. Thanks

I have both and love both. I think both have their purpose and I plan to keep both for a long time.

I prefer high temp grilled stuff (burgers, steak, fruits, veggies, pork chops, etc) on the Kamado best. I prefer lean white meat food (chicken breast, wings, pork loin, turkey breast, etc.) on the pellet cooker.

Smoked foods a great on both, I just depends on what smoke flavor I am looking for and what kind of mood I'm in for cooking.

In the end it will be okay.
And if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Now that you've introduced yourself, you can head on over to Q-talk and post your question (if you don't like our answers). You'll get tons of advice over there. I have a Primo XL, like an Egg, which I love. I'm also looking to pick up a pellet pooper. Yes, there is room for both in our family. It all depends on what you like to do though.

Welcome and Good Luck to ya!

I looked long and hard at "pooper", but I (personally)
didn't like the idea of having to have an electrical connection.
Purchased a Large BGE in '08 and have never looked back!
