Default Simply Marvelous Pecan Rub & Chops

Rubbed some Simply Marvelous Pecan rub on some Costco rib chops.

Then hot & fast smoked them with Kingsford Comp and pecan chunks.

My daughter won't eat pork so I rubbed a chicken breast with Stubbs chicken rub. The chops were crazy good. I slathered some roasted rasberry and chipotle grilling sauce on some of the chops. I preferred the chops without the sauce. I was concerned about the amount of sugar in the pecan rub but they came out great. They were so good I forgot to get a pic of the finished product.

You should try that pecan rub on some beef short ribs and even a nekkid fatty. It is fantastic with both.

I got to say, Costco has great chops. I like the rib chops myself. Much better than typical chops from the grocery store. They don't dry out as easily and just have more flavor.
