Default Rehabbing an Oyler. Have you done it?

Looking at a used Oyler. Folks say they are simple to rehab, any one with some experience on this?

Rehab? Replace the racks and hangers? A new motor? What does it need?

An old rehabed Oyler cooks better than a brand new gasser anyday?

I would jump at the chance to pick it up!

It's a 700. Needs new main motor, motor controls, both actuator motors, and new wiring.

Damn, learned something again; about the third time this week from the Brethren! I never heard on an Oyler until this post, looked it up one the web only to find it is an awsome pit and a significant historical "C" change in making BBQ.

Ask for R.J. in the parts dept. Have your serial number and they can tell you when it was built. Good luck!
