Default Remington Wireless BBQ Thermometer Set 17339

Good afternoon everyone. I am in the market for a couple of digital thermometers and was looking on amazon. I was looking at the Maverick ET 732 when I noticed the Remington 17339. It looks identical and is offered at $40. Just wondering if anyone owns one.

Here is a link to the item:

Any help is apprecitiated.

Just got an update. This is actually made by Maverick. Should save people $20 over the Redi Check.

Wow, a cheap (or better) knock off?

If you go for the Remington, let us know how it works.

That appears to be a single probe unit where as the ET732 is a two probe unit.

Will do. I just put in the order now. When I ordered it specified maverick manufactured it. Looks like a bargain.

Default Update on Remington Wireless BBQ Thermometer Set 17339

After receiving the unit yesterday I can confirm it is manufacturered by Maverick and is a rebadged ET732. If you are in the market for a thermometer save yourself $20 and buy the Remington.

Have fun and happy 4th.
