Default Sealybration July 12-13 Sealy, TX

Used to be sanctioned by Lonestar, but not this year. Same payout as when it was sanctioned. Spoke to the promoter, she said there are usually 50 teams. We will be there if anyone from the brethren wants to come hang out.

Not to derail the thread, but you need to find a cook off north of Houston with a BIG pay off and we might come. I was actually considering this until I looked at the pay outs.

(they are good for locals, but you know what gas costs)

Yeah, I know these little cookoffs don't pay too well. What are some of the ones your talking about?

Not north of Houston, but I have considered this one.

I checked it out. It's hard to justify going to a Cookoff that doesn't pay anything for the overall winner. That's why I do the comps I do. I might consider that one though. It's not too far for me

$1000 for first place in each category sounds good to me, and that pork counts for GC helps my cause.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm thinking about it and I don't have any cookoffs till the invitational. Gotta fill the void
