Talking Rotisserie Smoker

Do you own a rotisserie smoker? Which one? How do you like it?

Yes, Kingfisher backyard bonanza. Love it but to heavy to haul around to many comps.

Kingfisher. 4-shelf rotisserie and 30x32 inch grill with central firebox (used to be called the Gator). Used it for several years in competition, lots of catering, still have it in the yard - the firebox doors and floor in the rotisserie chamber are burned out but he rotisserie is still working. I'm going to mount the top portion on a block base and make a fixed backyard uber-pit. Bob at KCK.com was great to work with back in 2004.

He loves it. From what I can tell it holds temps great. He has the thermostaically controlled version that can be used with or without gas.

at home, he uses the propane, when he competes its just like a guru / stoker. Customer service he claims is awesome and when I've played with it, its well constructed.

As an FYI - Corkscrew BBQ which was a recent addition to the Texas Monthly top 50 Que joints uses a cadillac here in Houston. www.corkscrewbbq.com
