Default Beef/pork ribs tomorrow 6/30

Going to have the UDS' maiden voyage tomorrow with some awesome looking beef ribs I found at Ralph's and some STL ribs. Going to try SM Spicy apple rub, just checking to see if anyone's tried it on beef ribs before? How were they?

I'm not a fan of sweet rubs on beef, but Spicy Apple is great on pork ribs!

Ok guys, here's the pron as promised. SM Spicy Apple was ok on the beef and pretty good on the pork. I think my thermometers were off because cook was done in about 3 hours. I thought I was cooking at 290-300, went to check on them at the half way point and passed the probe and bend test, then I check IT and everything was around 190. I put about 10-15 lit coals in to start so next time I'll bring that down to try to control the heat a bit. Any other suggestions?
