Default Weber q120

Hello guys, im new to this forum :) still learning how to cook my own perfect steaks I bought a weber q120 recently, loving it nice convenient grill for steaks compare to my weber kettle. i want to minimize the hassle of cleaning the inside as little as possible, can i do this by placing an aluminum foil inside and poke a hole for grease to drip down. my question is is it safe to do this (see picture)? Thanks guys and happy grilling

not sure about the steak part but that is your business. i see no reason that lining the bottom part with foil wouldn't work. good choice on the q !

Q's are nice little cookers for certain things, no doubt. But if I were to pick any cooker in the world to cook the perfect steak on, it would be a Weber kettle.

That's a Nice rig. I would skip the foil and get dirty. I had one and it will high heat a great steak.

normal i just grill steaks (new york or ribeyes), i love searing on the q it gives me that perfect grill marks, also its much easier to setup on baby q then kettle, its too much hassle setuping a basket of charcoal on chimney starter . I want to sell my weber 22.5 kettle gold after i purchased a q120 lol. I guess its a matter of personal preference
