Default What was I thinking????

Having our Annual BBQ this Saturday . It started 7 years ago with 3 neighbors . Now this year we are up to 140 people coming this saturday . Cooking a butt load of Q . 10- Pork Butts, 2- 17lb briskets, 50lb of chicken thighs and 24- racks of St Louis ribs . It is going to be a long night tomorrow night cooking .What have I started? Will be firing up all 4 smokers for this event . I always wonder when will we max out on our guests . Year 1 - 12 people, year 2 - 30 people. year 3 - 55 people, year 4 - 86 people , year 5 - 98 people , year 6- 115 people and now year 7- 140 people . I may need to build another cooker next year if this is the rate that it keeps growing . Or start charging per head .

Too many friends to share your Q with is the best problem you could ever have.

Sounds like quite the event......you'll have to post some pron for us all. Sounds like a real good time.

Any distance limit on the "neighbor" thing there, maybe I could show up, sounds great.

NO not at all. We have friends and family that come as far south as Florida and as far north as New Jersey

At least the weather should be clearing up for you. Good luck! I'm only cooking for 50+ tomorrow for a family reunion.
