Default STOK 4-Volt Charcoal Starter?

Ran across this on the Home Depot site and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Looks interesting but is it worth it?

Well IMHO a chimney works because heat rises ?? That is why this part puzzles me ?

The STOK 4-Volt Charcoal Starter is designed to prepare charcoal for grilling. It features an aluminized-steel chimney, and the detachable fan helps make it easy to stoke the coals from above. Get any charcoal grill started quickly with this handy charcoal starter.

Here is a video, the fan does not "stoke the coals from above" dunno why they say that :-).

Kinda cool, but to me the wait time for the Chimney is not a major PITA.

And one chimney full for a weber 22" does not seem quite enough in my experiences so far anyway, gonna snag a second weber chimney this weekend.

So it stokes from the bottom. That sould make sense. Might give it a shot. I need a new chimney anyway. Just got to convince the boss.

.
Agreed.
I light the chimney first.
By the time I get everything else ready to go, the chimney is ready
