Gonna be a good time. Not bringing an "q" from San Diego, but I can bring some desserts!

Date is locked, I'm looking forward to getting loaded with quality "q" from my local brethren.

This looks to be a blast. At this point in time I'd have to say me and the wife are in (unless something unbeknownst to me happens). It'll be my first bash so let me know what's needed.

Great to hear!

As we get closer, I'll get an official head count going, then we'll get started on who's cooking/bringing what.

O.K. 21st looks good here. I'm in too! From here, I can hit North Hills with a Tri Tip.

Just saw this. I'll mark out the date and see how things go. My wife and I are talking about a camping trip in early/mid September, but no firm dates yet.

If needed, I can bring a couple of grills in the back of a P/U truck (small Santa Maria and a Weber or two)

I just noticed this too. Is this an open event, like a big cookout/potluck? can anyone rsvp? I'd be interested in attending and bringing some goodies. I also didn't think there were many brethren in LA, but I guess since we can't buy good que, we have to make it!

I'll try my best to make this event. It all depends on my work and vacation schedule. Thanks for putting this all together! :)

Oh man! Just realized I'm booked on an out of town vacation that was on the schedule prior to the re-scheduled Bash in "the sf valley" The orig bash date worked. I just had an "ah-ha" moment and realized Sept 21st I'll be in SW Utah riding the mtn bike with a dozen other hammerheads.

The closest I'll be to BBQ is my bag of beef jerky I'll take on the rides

Well that''s still a perfectly great way to spend some time. The fam & I went through Southern Utah last summer and had our minds properly blown. I'm really looking forward to going back there someday - it's totally stunning.

We did pass a couple of BBQ joints on the way to Bryce and I believe there's one or 2 in Moab.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, Tony. The gentleman who is so kindly letting us use his property, due to liability issues involving his pool, jacuzzi, etc prefers it to be an adults only kind of bash. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but hope you can understand where he's coming from.

That said, hope you will still be able to make it - we'd love to have you.
