Im tryin to smoke my 1st pastrami this weekend and was wondering what the best wood to use is??

I used red oak when I made my first pastrami, it came out yummy!

I couldn't tell a difference in smoke flavor on pastrami. So I say try a few different kinds and see if you can tell a difference.
