Default First time grilled pineapple

Wife bought 2 fresh pineapples the other day and left them on the counter with intentions of trying her new core remover thing. She left today to leave for work for over a week so I was left with two pineapples.

Had some extra time today and wanted to relax after work so I cut both of them up and tried to find some recipes. (never did find the core remover thing she bought)

On some pieces I did just a normal grilled pineapple with nothing on it.

On the other I put 3 teaspoons of honey and half teaspoon of Cayenne pepper in a bowl and put in it microwave for 10 seconds to melt the honey. Then I dipped a few pieces in it. On some of the other pieces I put honey, normal white table sugar and cinnamon on it.

The best pieces I liked were the Cayenne and honey along with normal grilled. I didn't care for the cinnamon because it tasted burnt which it may have been.

sounds legit. I tried slicing some and dehydrating to blend and mix into rub...didnt give the rub much taste really. I have tried grilling limon next to fajitad for tacos and its great...adds tons of smoke taste to the limon

I had a friend that regularly smoke pineapple with loads of his own chile powder on it. He said it was terrific that way. He never shared, now that I think about it
