Talking Just some Tuesday night thighs on the UDS

Been keeping my UDS busy for the last week or so! Today after getting home unexpectedly early, I managed to get in an extra-long run, dodging rainstorms all the way. I was particularly hungry, it was only 4, and I was in the mood for chicken, so I thought I'd do some thighs. I did 2 with a tandoori rub and 2 with a lemon pepper/salt/cumin rub for the lady. Again I am horrible about forgetting to take photos during the cook, but I got a few of the finished product.

They cruised on the UDS for about an hour to an hour and a half, at about 300. I've just started using some Rancher briquettes that I got on sale at Piggly Wiggly- have to say I like them a lot! The girlfriend insists that it smells MUCH better than KBB. I've got some Kingsford Comp in reserve now, so I will have to do a back-to-back comparison and see how I like them in comparison.

Chicken was delicious, crispy skin, juicy, wonderful savory and spicy flavor of the tandoori masala! The UDS did a great job as always, I am beginning to wonder how I ever lived without one!

The Lemon Pepper Thigh

Ready to eat!

Thanks for looking!
