Default MY 1st water smoker

I do not know how well its gonna smoke any thing just got this yesterday night my girlfriends father gave it to me. The racks and pan do not even look like its been fired yet.

The Brinkman will work but you will need to keep a close eye on your temps.

I would look up the Minion method and use that approach. It will probably help to keep your fire under control since you dont have much control with that smoker.

It will produce good meat, start with something simple until you get used to it

a pork butt is always a good choice

dont be afraid to ask for help

I already use the Minion method on my off set charbroil smoker i was planning to use it hear on the brinkmann as well the temp gauge on this things a joke and a half

Nice score! I had a ECB (El Cheapo Brinkmann) back in the day...poor ole thing - RIP. It can turn out some cook food, but it takes a while to learn it. You may even need to mod it out a little. There are plenty of mod threads available, but don't be shy about asking questions. Good luck!

Use lump in that thing to avoid ash build up smothering your fire. Avoid KBB in it at all costs.
