Default Looking for quality chicken in the WNY area

Pretty much self explanatory...........butcher shops aren't much better then grocery stores around here (which are pretty good). Just wondering if there is a farm in western New York or a shop I might be bypassing that has an above average chicken product.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know about everyone else, but I get my thighs at Wegmans. Fairly consistent quality. Had 4 top 10 finishes last year and a couple the year before.

Tops and wegmans certainly don't suck as grocery options. I have cooked MANY birds from them that's for sure. Pretty much all I practice on. I'm sure their stuff is good enough in the right cooks hands.
