Default BBQ and iPad/iPhone

I haven't kept up with this.
I'm looking for something that accurately measures ambient temp and meat temp that I can read on my iPad/iPhone.

What's available?
What works well?
Is it worth it or should I just get a dual probe thermometer and get off my ass to check it?

Thanks,
