Default Thanks Marty for the Pastrami!

Mr. Leach,

Your pastrami recipe that starts with a corned beef was shared with me and I followed it fairly closely on some corned beef I found on sale for $1.99 a pound.

the only difference was I put it in the tray you see below with the beef broth in it and sealed the top with foil instead of wrapping in foil to finish cooking.

I had bought some Pastrami last week, it doesn't hold a candle to what I made.

I only have a pic of just before the beef broth went in as I wrapped it and foiled it when it came off and forgot to take pics before it was devoured for supper.

Thanks again Marty!

My wife is a Pastrami freak. I was a virgin I made my 1st one a few months back and it ruined my wife for anything from the store/deli.. The real shock was when I made one a few weeks back. A buddy stopped by for a beer just after I put it in the fridge and I asked him to try some. He told me " I don't like Pastrami but that is farking awesome!!! Can I have a sammy? "
