Default Kingsford Comp at Costco

Went to Costco at lunch to see if they had any lump in yet (they dont)

But they did have Kingsford Comp, I have never seen it in a store before around here.

In fact, thats all they had. I am sure they will get others in but thats all they had now

It was $19.99 for 2 18lb bags.

I did not buy any, I can get Trader Joes for less than that and I have been happy with it. Stubbs at Lowes is also cheaper and I like that too.

just thought I would pass it on

thanks

I bought that 2-pack last year at Costco when it was on sale for ~$12, IIRC.

Bought a 2-pack yesterday, been wanting to try it. Gonna grill up some thighs for dinner.

K-Comp is good stuff. A few more pesos than K-Blue but worth it. Smells great and burns clean. Pretty cool, right now there are many brands of quality briquettes on the market. i still like mixing quality hardwood briquettes with Ozark Oak. Lob in a palm sized chunk of pecan.
Add beer, or three.
