Might I also suggest adding a standard CAT5 port as well. My smoker is close enough I can run cable to it.

I have a feeling that you're alone in that request

Has anyone here made changes to the PID settings on the dog or wolf controller to work better on a ceramic grill?

What kind of plans do you have for replacing the defective V1 units?

Default Good News

Looking forward to that. For some reason yesterday I couldn't get mine read. Dunno if it's the contacts or the probes. Oh well. Still happy to be part of the trials and tribulations. It's been a lot of fun. I'll see if I can get it working tomorrow.

Default wGrill quit working

this thing worked fine til last cook. I have some chicken breasts coming up today. Has anyone had the wGrill work, then stop working? were any of you able to get it up and running again? And how? I'm a little leary of cooking chicken without an internal temp.

I have two of the V1 wGrills and two of my 4 probes failed within 15 minutes of the first use. I hope that V2 includes more reliable probes.

Default more V1 trouble..

was really excited about the Wgrill V1, got two, they work very unreliably. I use a stoker wired to a router so if V2 has Cat5 i am SET!

Please advise when V2 is ready so we can begin to check it out. Untill then its more fussing with the V1....
