Spring Time Salads
Its spring I think, Well it should make Mid 40's today.
Time to think Spring/Summer BBQ and all the tastey sides.
Here is my favorite, BBQ Mac Salad.

I wish I had a better recipe, family recipes that don't get written down, what can you do, but, here goes.
Mom's Macaroni Salad
1 bag of salad macaroni, boil until al dente
1 bottle of Girard's Champagne salad dressing
1 packet of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
4 stalks from the heart of celery, with leaves, small dice
1 small yellow onion, small dice
5 small gherkins, small dice
1/2 pound or more of salad shrimp
Mix packet of salad dressing with bottle of dressing and let sit for 15 minutes. Add all ingredients and let marinate for 1 hour in fridge.
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Colman's Dry Mustard
White pepper, fine grind
Sweet pickle juice
Season mayo with other three ingredients until it tastes right. Add to marinated macaroni mix and let sit in fridge until cold. You can add sliced black olives at that point if you want.
