I have a few River County temp gauges . They are accurate . inexpensive and also can adjust . My 3" gauges were only $16 each on amazon . You can get the 2" for cheaper .

I added the stock weber thermometer to the lid and a grommet on the bowl for the ET732.

I put an Weber Performer thermometer on my 22 1/2" OTG.


I also did a grommet mod to it.

I use a Maverick; you can monitor both your pit temp and meat temp with it and then you don't have to drill any holes that will subsequently release heat and smoke.

Get the maverick. I have 2, and nothing beats having your temps near by when you can't be!

+1 Haven't justified the expense of the 732 yet, but one other con worth mentioning is, go over 450 and you are buying a new probe. of course the things i cook that are over 400, I don't need a cooker thermometer for
