Default Looking for suggestions on comps to enter

Anyone have any advice on what competitions in Minnesota to enter? Our team is new and looking for some place to start. First comp we are signed up for is the Smokin' in Steele in Owatonna. Any suggestions and help would be apprectiated. Thanks.

I got something in the mail the other day from a casino in MN that was having a comp that paid fantastic, I want to say it was fathersday weekend somewhere over by the Mississippi river. $1000 per catergory for the winner and only 200 to enter. Looked like a good deal to me.

Big Belly Ben,
Glad you already signed up for our contest on May 31 and June 1. I will make sure and get together with you when you get here. You will have a good time and as a new team, we will make sure you get some mentoring. Get ready for a fun weekend.

Go to MN BBQ Society. com for a list of all MN comps with direct links to each contests web sites and registrations.

Looking forward to meeting you and getting to know each other.

Also check out Bend of the River Smoke off in Mankato, MN last weekend in June. It has just become KCBS sanctioned this year.

Last years contest was alot of fun and the people are great, it is not too far from Sioux Falls.
