Default Akorn dog?

Has anyone used the golden dog on the char griller akorn? If so how was your experience? Also what is max temp that the probe is capable of withstanding?

the probe can withstand 250C or 480F,
the wires can withstand 200C or 390F

Golden-LION and Golden-DOG are from same family.
You can take Golden-DOG as simplified model of Golden-LION.
For comparison purpose, you can compare Golden-DOG with Auber
