Default Shell Steaks And Burgers (pr0n)

Done on my 22 1/2" OTG.

Sauteed onions in advance of the cook.


On The OTG with fresh cracked black pepper and sea salt.


Done on one side.


Burgers at the turn.


Steaks done.


Served up with sauteed onions.


Done just right.


Burger on a bun with sauteed onions.


Beer o' the day.

A shell steak is the cut adjacent to the fillet Mignon. It is also called a NY strip steak.
It is common here on Long Island, and is really tasty!

Spinalis Dorsi.The outer part of a Ribeye.but,,,those look more like rib eyes.Just an observation.I do not see fillet in that pic.

we also call them n y strip steaks. i buy the whole loin and cut them 1 inch thick . It only makes sence . Buy the steaks seperate and they are 6.95 a pound. Get the whole loin and it is 3.95 a pound . Your going to eat them anyway . And yes we do a lot of them .
