Default Thermoworks

I have 3 thermoworks thermometers to read my internal temps after foiling. I have gone thru 4 last year and called the company sent me new ones. I just opened them yesterday on my practice run same promblem reading over 200 there not touching anything extremly hot. My question is what brand have you guys used that have worked great and not had issues? I have a thermapen as most do by the same company wish they worked as good as that does. Thanks.
