Picked up some nice strip steaks for dinner tonight....



Seasoned them up....salt, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder...




Reverse sear....



Rested and sliced....




Plated....a little curry rice, hummus, tomato and pita bread...



It was good eats....

It's cut from the strip loin. Basically, it's the larger chunk from the porterhouse.

Funny. I was at Garden Fresh picking up some spices and the were at the meat counter sitting there as pretty as you please. It's a great place for spices.
