So Thom am I understanding it correctly, this will be a 300 team field with each participating BBQ Association receiving one free contest entry and accommodations for the team in first place of the TOY chase on 10/7/13? The rest of the field is open to anyone to sign up?

Sounds like a great deal as well as a great contest!
Might have to start practicing now; "Babe, what do you think about going to Laughlin for our anniversary?" Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like Vegas but it might work

We wanted the Regional Associations that have had so much positive effect in the growth of BBQ to be a part of the USA.
