How much would you pay for a BGE with a large chip?

How much would you pay for this? My understanding is the cap would cover this seemingly large "chip".

Will it bother you every time you look at it? Or will you be happy that you saved a bunch?

My inclination would be to save a bunch - like half price. But if it's going to bother you, then no price will make a difference. Or if you really don't care, and really want a BGE, a smaller discount may float your boat.

What year model is it? What accessories does it have with it? Is it in good shape otherwise? That could be "repaired" pretty easily.

It some with a pizza stone and of course the cast iron temp cap. Nothing more as far as I can tell. The seller said it works great other than the chip. I'd have to ask if he still has the chipped pieces. However the asking price is a negotiable $275.

Just guessing here but that looks like an older Egg that has seen a lot of use. Not that anything is wrong with that, it just depends on how well it was cared for.

If everything is in good condition and if they still have the broken piece lying around, you have found a good deal for that size smoker.

That can be repaired and like others said. If it was well taken care of!!

I'm not hell bent on getting a BGE immediately. Just always on the look out for a good deal on one. If this guy seems a bit broken, beaten down I can wait.

I would grab it for a little as you can get it. For CL Depending on what it is, and origianal asking price, I start out with 60% of asking price. Can't have enough egg!
