I have an ET 73 and it is giving me a code of LLL, what does that mean? I replaced the batteries, same thing.
Also, what does HHH mean? |

More than likely you need new probes, make sure they are plugged in good.

Been there, done that. Probe issue. From the manual:
Helpful Hints If the receiver and/or the transmitter display LLL or HHH instead of the probe temperature, wait for probe either through moisture or heat damage.to reach room temperature. If LLL or HHH is still displayed it is likely the internal probe wire has shorted out

Not a probe issue. I have 3 units and the same probes work in the other 2 units.
I still want to know what LLL & HHH mean |

Maybe it's that unit itself having internal wiring issues.

LLL HHH means love/hate to me. I love my ET-73 when it is working and hate it when it isn't.

LLL= temp too low to register or lower than your minimum low temp setting
HHH= temp too high to register or higher than your maximum temp setting. |

There you go then, there's a problem in the unit itself.
