Wikipedia defines piri piri sauce as:
Piri piri sauce

Piri piri sauce (used as a seasoning or marinade) is Portuguese in origin and "especially prevalent in Angola, Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa". It is made from crushed chillies, citrus peel, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, lemon juice, bay leaves, paprika, pimiento, basil, oregano, and tarragon.

I only use a tablespoonful as my 10 year old granddaughter likes a touch of chillie but not a lot.
In Aussie there are a number of commercial piri piri sauces available. I do believe we should provide recipes showing ingredients as the BBQ Brethren is a truly international body and we should be communicating in a way that is understood by all members.
I am in awe of the brethren as I know many are capable of products with great complexity. Nevertheless they are complimentary of simple dishes and the fun of BBQing.
