I tried the search and read through several threads before posting this and if I missed what I was looking for I apologize in advance for asking a question I could have found. With that being said.....
My wife went back to California to visit her Mother and brought back 3 tri tips. Due to impending weather I smoked one this morning rather than this afternoon for dinner. I want to reheat it this evening and am curious if just reheating in the oven at about 220 or so until it comes back up to temperature is the best way to do this. I cooked it to 145 (a little high for some, I know) and have it resting in foil in the microwave.

From my experience you would need to gently reheat maybe even with a small amount of liquid. They are always lean so you dont usually want to cook them more. Your plan to bring it up to 145 sounds good. If it were me I might shoot for 140 and then use the carry-over heat.
