Texas WCFA Cook Off

The annual WCFA Cook Off, in Huntsville, Texas, will be going on April 12th thru 13th. It is an unsanctioned event but usually has 45 to 50 teams competing. There are several categoryies to compete in also. Anyone in the area check out the link, even if you don't cook, come hang out with us!

Team auction. You bid to buy the team you think will win brisket and if they do you win the pot.

Here in North Texas most of the calcuttas pay top 3 in each category. Well known winners can go for big bucks and payouts can be really good. Think about 40 teams being sold from $30-200. Then it gets dished out to 9 teams and usually some % to charity.
