Gameday grub
Just finished prepping 60 MOINK's and 20 ABT's
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359875320.136584.jpg Smoked and shredded a 4lb chuckie for 4 hours at 250*, put it in a pan with a tomato chili sauce I made, covered then finished til it would pull. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359875431.198187.jpg My chili sauce if you want to try: 1 29 oz can tomato sauce 1 quart beef stock 5 garlic cloves (I love garlic) 1/2 of an onion 6 tablespoons of California Chili powder I finely diced the onion and garlic, then threw everything in a pot, brought it to a boil, then lowered the heat and simmered til it reduced down to the consistency I wanted. It took about 4 hours on medium low heat til it was done. It may seem like I put a lot of chili powder in there, but I'm adding this chuckle to some chili, so it should mellow out. I'll post pics of my Cheater Chili tomorrow.

We have too many irons in the fire today. No time to smoke...
(and it's 50° and sunny today too, what a shame) I'm going to grill some 'London Broil' and fix some 'Garlic Mashed Potato's' as a pre-game meal. During the game I'll content myself to snack on Velveta/Chili/Salsa dip and corn chips. |
