What is it. I was looking for a tri tip and the guy at Winn Dixie said they usually throw those away? So I got a sirloin tip roast. I was looking for something I have never smoked, what would be the best way to smoke and season it? We like medium rare stuff so would 135 be good? It looks like a lean cut of meat about 1.5 pounds.

If it's like the Sirloin Tip Roast in this thread...
http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=124802 I have enjoyed them cooked to medium rare, and also as demonstated in that thread, obviously. PErsonally, I recommend medium rare!
