That looks great, Ron_L! I think the flavours of biscuit, nekkid fatty and apple habernero jelly rock! Thanks for sharing the memories of opening night at the House of Blues, Chicago, that would have been something to see and hear and I love that Rubber Biscuit song, too.

Default Strawberry Fields forever........

I want to thank Kathy for this TD, it really made me reflect. I come from a very musical family. They all knew how to put records on the turntable and hit start.......... Fast forward to 1964. Ed Sullivan and the Beatles. The entire world was........... I for one, was taken by the Fab Four. Several days later my dad came home with my first guitar............. I thought I was John Lennon. Well almost 50 years later, I still play have been in many bands and music has been an intricate part of my life. So this TD has some meaning, to me. Having grown up with music and the best rock band ever, I have always felt a connection with John Lennon. So my TD entry pays tribute to one of his finest compositions..........."Strawberry Fields, forever".

I have but one shot which, I hope says it all. Chicken tenders, roasted on the grill and then covered with a strawberry salsa. I served with a small side of potatoes. May I present my TD entry............Strawberry Fields.

Looks delicious, Bluesman. Strawberry salsa, wouldn't of thunk it but I bet it was good, I've liked strawberries in other savoury dishes. Nice colour on the tenders and thanks for your reflections. I think the garnish (mint?) sets off the colours beautifully.

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!

Just got an email from my fiancee and she said I wouldn't be able to cook Friday night because that's my mom's Bday dinner (whoops).

We're supposed to go out Saturday night with some friends, but if they don't go then I'll be able to cook Saturday for Dinner (either way, I'm going to enter this dag blasted TD)

I was worried that the TDs ended Saturday, but I saw where they fall into Sunday, so I should be good.
