WSM fire ring sizes- 18 vs 22

Is the 22 bigger or the same size? Does anyone know the actual size/sizes?

22 ring is a couple of inches bigger, some peope use the 18 fire ring in a 22 fr smaller cooks

Using an 18 1/2" ring in a 22 1/2" WSM can use a less fuel, especially on a shorter or low temperature cook.

Yes.

Edit: Height of both is 4 3/4" diameters are 14" and 17"

The ring for the 22.5 will hold almost 50% more.
