Default chuck roast Burnt ends HELP

Wife wants burnt ends for the Super Bowl, but don't got the Brisket Point :(. Gonna do a Chuck Roast and need some Ideas for the Cook. If it works maybe Super Bowl Night will be SUPER??????

Thinking of doing an Oak Ridge Comp Beef rub or maybe the Back ops I just got. Got any suggestions?

First question, can you get packer briskets? I ask because you could still cut off the point and save the flat for another cook. I just find point meat to make the perfect burnt end.

That being said, chuck will work fine. Just cook as you normally would. When it is done, cube it up and mix with sauce. Then back on the smoker for a while to "burn" the sauce.
