Default Steel drum blue food liner inside

Good morning!

I am going to build another uds... I found drums close to home on Craigslist with lids' but blue inside.

Anybody dealt with a blue interior?

When I built robot the drum had a tan coating that burned out easily...

Thanks bro's

Blue... Any idea what the drums used to ship? Are they advertised as food grade?

Pics on Craigslist show sky blue interior, food grade.

I have heard lots about red. All bad.

Blue? Not a clue!

Any color liner other than clean steel is bad. If it's a good price grab it and get it sandblasted.

It could be a removable plastic liner; I had one of those; less than a minute to remove it.
