I had a prime rib in the freezer, that I put in the fridge on Monday night. Just now, I get my black pepper and rub ready. Take the puppy out the fridge, and still semi-frozen. FARK!!!!!!!!!! I hate when this happens!! Had a mean urge for beef today! :doh:

Put it in a big ole ziplock, set that in a big ole pot, run cold water till the pot is full, then a small steady stream of water after that. It'll thaw out quicker than you think.
